The background and experience that we have gained over the last three decades has put us in good stead for the development of special purpose machinery, we have proven to be an invaluable source to many of our clients. We have worked with companies such as british nuclear fuels limited helping them to create special purpose machinery such as tiny pipe systems and radiation shields for ois engineering.
We work closely with many different companies in the industry of non destructive testing equipment, in lots of cases our projects have involved modifying equipment that we have already made, adapting it to different situations for different clients and whatever special purpose they need it for.
Our special machinery can be used in a wide range of applications such as pipeline equipment, we can create gammaheads and control and tracking devices. We can manufacture winding mechanisms that are both manual and automated. Our ancillary equipment includes collimators and delivery tubes. Our special purpose collimators are easily adaptable for a whole range of different radiographic approaches, you can convert between side throw and end throw by adding or taking away slugs that are made from tungsten.
We also manufacture special purpose containers such as the gamma id 192 which is a straight through shutter projector. The shield in this container is sealed in titanium and uses titanium locks . The shuttle is made from tungsten thereby eliminating all the shine path from the radiation which you will often get from similar projectors.
