The backgound and experience which C. S. Products has gained during the past 27 years has proven invaluable in developing equipment and systems specific to a customer's needs. When British Nuclear Fuels required a miniature pipe radiography system, C. S. Products worked closely with OIS Engineering Ltd in the design, development and production of the Site-Shield 15/150 Radiation Shielding System. The CSP Mk.13 Container which is an itegral part of the Site-Shield System is a miniature 11Curie Ytterbium 169 Rotary Shield Container. The overall dimensions of the container are 11 x 8 x 6 cms with a gross weight of only 4 Kg. The container is remotely controlled and sensors within the system ensure that an exposure cannot take place unless all interlocks are in a safe mode. |

In 1992, European Marine Contractors Ltd (EMC), one of the major companies in the sub-sea pipelaying industry, contacted C. S. Products for an outline concept for an automated pipe radiography system. The system was to replace the traditional manual 'bar-b-que pit system'. The CSP Nautilus Container (maximum capacity 200Curies of Iridium 192) was used as a big brother to the Mk.13 in the development of the EMC Bracelet. The bracelet provides a self-contained automated system with a remote control panel and a pneumatic operated shutter. On completion of each exposure the central section is easily rotated to the next datum point. |

C. S. Products have worked with many companies within the Non-Destructive Testing Industry, in some cases to simply adapt a standard collimator for a specific requirement, in other cases to design, develop and manufacture complete electro/mechanical automated systems. The Neutron Source Transfer System developed with British Nuclear Fuels is just one example. Regardless of the
simplicity or complexity of your specific needs:- |
