Mk.8 ROTARY SHIELD
The Mk.8 container provides a lightweight method of Crawler Control. The rotary shield, which is housed in a stainless steel case, provides for maximum safety when not in use. The source is exposed by unlocking and turning the operating lever through 180 degrees. When in the exposed position, the source is sited close to the pipewall. The collimated beam path has a 90 degree included angle.

CRAWLER CONTROL - TORCH TYPE
This type of container provides a simple and effective method of crawler control with a relatively high maximum capacity i.e. 25 mCi of Cobalt60. When not in use, the torch is stored within an outer shielded container with a lockable lid. The standard collimated beam has a 90 degree included angle, however, the shield can be manufactured to provide any specified angle.
