Gammarid 169/15
| The Gammarid 169/15 is a remote controlled 'straight-through' shutter type source projector. The heavy alloy (Tungsten) shield is sealed in a titanium case and is protected by titanium shutter and locking mechanisms. The source holder is contained within a tungsten shuttle, which eliminates the radiation 'shine-path' associated with similar types of source projector. The Gammarid 169/15 has been specifically designed for use with Ytterbium169 to provide a compact and light weight (5Kg) container. When used in tandem with the CSP GammaDrive, the Gammarid provides a fully automated, portable system for enclosure or site operation. Gammarid provides a full range of equipment, which complies with all current and proposed known legislation. |
